First of all, you need to work on your reading comprehension skills.

I didn't analyze Tabata's game at all and asked you guys to do so. I was just pointing out how his minor league numbers early on weren't anywhere near as good as Ramirez and while power is the last thing to develop but that (based on the numbers alone) it seemed like a stretch to me that Tabata would have as much anywhere power as Manny when Manny had shown much more power and production in the minors.

I specifically said that you guys have obviously followed Tabata much more than me and asked why he was compared to Ramirez.

Thanks for the answers guys. Should be interesting to see just how much power he develops. If he develops a lot of power, he should be a great player with his ability to hit for a high AVG as an 18 year old in High-A.

Yes he is a blue-chipper but not quite in that class. Remember he is only like 18.

Well to be fair, there are not many people in Hughes' class. I'd put Tabata a step below Hughes, just because 20 year old kids who power stuff and very good command don't grow on trees.

I'd reconsider that notion if Tabata is promoted to Trenton later this year and hits for more power than he showed at Tampa, though. He'd definitely be on Hughes level then.
