I was just thinking... Girardi had unbelievable success with the Marlins a few years back.. A bunch of young role players that were rather inexperienced won 80 something games. Girardi was manager of the year.

In New York, he had a case of overmanaging elite talent. Treating them like they were Miguel Cairo's. With a form of money ball on this roster due to injuries, Girardi has had great success. Coincidence? I think not.
