Ouch. I can only imagine and empathize with you. I'm guessing you're kind of a closet Yanks fan around Bostonians or else I don't see how you'd be posting on this board. They'd have killed you a few years back. No?

I'm near Hartford, It's proly 55/45 Red Sox/Yankees around here. Its real fun actually. Its like the Mets / Yankees probably for you guys, which personally isn't that big a deal for me.

That's cool. I'm sure there's some healthy competitive banter and what not. Yeah, I can at least down-play the fact that the Yankees and Mets are rivals. You just kind of have to face it dead on. But at least where you are you have some back.

Its cool, its not like anyone around here is a full fledged New Yorker or Bostonian. Its more competitive banter than hatred or anything. And its completely acceptable that I'm a Yankees and Celtics fan, lol.
