Went to the game today....

Post#1 » by 34Celtic » Mon Jul 2, 2007 12:00 am

I picked up a few things.....

The first is that Torre needs to go. What? How can I, the biggest Torre supporter say that? Well this team has no life. None whatsoever. Posada, Jeter, Arod, Melky, and Damon....even though he is hurt are the only ones willing to give a damn out there. Abreu is awful, more on that later. Cano has degressed since he arrived there. I saw Proctor's arm hanging by a thread. Phillips is solid but not an everyday player.

Abreu is the biggest problem. He is tight with Cano and Melky and he has already worn off on Cano. They both don't seem to care. They are nonchalant in the field and at the plate both seem lost. I'm sick of Abreu, did not hear one good thing about him at the stadium today, and quite frankly want him out of New York before he wears off on Melky.....because he has already gotten to Cano.

There is something wrong with Pettitte. I have never seen him that bad in his entire career. He did not hit Posada's glove once and the homeruns he let up were all no doubters....

Villone came in and showed some balls. Like between his legs, not actual pitches for the first time in a while. I thought we were going to roll over and die but we actually showed a little bit of life...not everyone but a few of the guys. Proctor was used again but he didn't throw his equipment on the field and light it on fire today.

Basically Torre has to go, and Abreu and Cano need to follow him out that door. Im also very upset I didn't get to see Edwars first major league appearance.....hes in NY fellas
