Exactly. It's pretty simple, and this all comes back to Torre's bullpen management incompetence.

Yeah, good job Joe. Use Proctor and Mo in the first leg of a double header when we're up 5.

Can't wait till tonight when he's gonna still use his patented "1 out-1 reliever" method only to realize that hes only got 3 available. Thats when Cairo starts warming up :lol:.

The Yankees optioned Edwar Ramirez down to to Scranton after the game. Torre said Igawa was staying in the rotation so presumably DeSalvo will be sent back after the game. No word on who would replace him.

That is from Peter Abraham's blog. Are they stupid? Who is left to relieve? Myers and Villone? Are they going to have Roger and Moose warm up to pitch in relief of DeSalvo tonight? Extremely foolish move. At least he is an arm in the bullpen. They should have demoted Igawa instead who obviously is not pitching tonight. -Jitpal

I hate the way Torre treated Ramirez. Absolutely despited it.

Return to New York Yankees
