Yankees vs. Orioles Friday Sept 28, 2007

Post#1 » by xstockholmsyndromex » Sat Sep 29, 2007 12:48 am

Well its the fifth inning and no game thread, so I guess I have to start it.

A-Rod with homerun 54...Yankees offense is looking good. Up 7-2 in the 5th.

Moose isnt looking too hot, but I think he will get the win. Unfortunately it looks like the Red Sox will win as well.

GO YANKEES!

Orioles win on a bunt single.

I'm glad it ended there, we don't need to drag this out.

The important game tonight was Cleveland winning again, pretty much assuring that we avoid playing the Angels again.

I think the real question after tonight is what about our 3rd/4th starter? Granted if Clemens doesn't go I think we would use both Hughes and Mussina but now with Hughes coming off a good start and Mussina coming off a bad one who do you think we should go with? -Jitpal

Mo was bad last night but I'm still not worried about him. He's the least of our problems in the playoffs.

I hope clemens is available for game 1. Pettitte has always been excellent as a Big game pitcher, and game 2 will be huge if we lose the 1st one. Wang is incredible at home, not so on the road that's why we need him in game 3....

If clemens can't pitch game 1 I'd probably go with Mussina/Hughes.
