Hughes, Mussina and Pettitte vs Moseley, Escobar and Lackey. (in that order)
hughes has to give us a good performance, we need to win that game
we can get to escobar, but with mussina, who knows
Lackey is very good pitcher

The only game I fear is the Mussina vs. Escobar. Why? Cause Mussina just came off a lost vs the Tigers and Escobar looks Cy Young ever time he pitches against the Yankees. If we can score atleast 2 or 3 off Escobar and Mussina can hold the lead into the 6th, I feel will could win. AND also if Mussina can do 6, with have Joba available due to him not pitching 2 innings today.

Although I feel very comfortable with Pettitte on Wednesday, Lackey can be dominant on any given night. If we lose Tuesday, knowing how great Pettitte is off of a loss, I'll be comfortable. Tomorrow is the key.
EDIT: I'm looking forward to what Hughes can do tomorrow. He is going home and lives about 10 minutes from where the Angels play, so that can work 2 ways for a very young pitcher. Either they're pumped up and pitch really well, or they over throw and try to do too much to impress friends and family. Knowing Hughes' poise and maturity, I expect more of the pitching really well.

Here is a trivia question. Can anybody name 3/5 of the Mariners starting rotation without looking it up?
EDIT: Okay, I can name 3. Weaver, Washburn, Hernandez. But my point is that neither would scare anybody in a playoff series plus Weaver flat out sucks. How are they doing it? Their pen is really solid, and their offense is balanced.
