And somebody needs to take Cashman's job too if this keeps up. When does he start to get blamed for the awful starting pitching the Yankees have had for the last 4 years?

Cashman got us Robi Cano and and Philip Hughes .. he can stay here for me and build that minor league system up. Ohlendorfh, Clippard, Joba, Malencon, McCallister ..etc. Jose Tabata .. Cash stays ,someone take Torre please pull the hook it makes no sense if he doesn't win the World Series he's set to be fired , so stop F'n around and take advantage of Girardi !!!! :banghead:

Cashman is one of the best GMs. Calculated assassin man. Better than Mitch Kupchak. He even pushes the other GM to the limit to where they have to fold and take the offer.

Cash didn't get anybody... he didn't draft any of those guys. His job is to build a major league team... he's done an excellent job on the hitting side, but the pitching side he has been absolutely atrocius.

How can you blame Joe for the last few days when our pitching has been so bad? I mean, he has taken out pitchers early but for the most part our pitching has sucked. You can't just blame Joe for this. Joe just hasn't been given much.

Joe is a horrible bullpen manager but he's not getting much starting pitching either. Cashman is at fault here also.

we spent this much money on igawa. Shyt... this guy is a scrub.... we score a run, he give it right back.. this guy sucks ass. I am going to cut his ass today from my fantasy team... hell, I hope he breaks a leg, I can't afford for him to give up 15 runs in boston!!!!

Game 16 of the season was the 2nd time Andy Pettitte pitched relief on a throw day , his elbow is hanging by a string. Game 14 he could have gone 8 - 9 IP Boston didn't hit him, Torre brings in the tired bullpen.

Game decision on Friday when the lines weren't guarded, the fact that a small ball team wipes their ass w/ him

This division has gotten stronger and w/o Alex Rodriguez I'm not sure we even have 4 wins.

i doubt pettite could have gone 8-9innings, he had already threw 100 pitches when he taken out of the game.

I know it sounds crazy but a small ball technical team can kick Torre's ass he just doesn't have it. Take 2 Rodriguez walkoff HRS away, the 2 other 8th inning rallys started by him, that's 4 wins we have 8 w's and 4 were because of Alex Rodriguez late inning rallys.

Where is the hit and run w/ this team, the steal 2nd base , bunt a guy over , our pitching is bad but sometimes you need to bite an ass kicking to save it. He's coaching desperate and his time is winding down

I just wonder why Joe gets so much criticism but Cashman gets no criticism at all... why the double standard? Cashman builds the staff, Joe manages it. And what have we had over the last few years? We've had a over the hill Randy Johnson, an old and aging Mussina and not much else.

Cashman deserves just as much blame as Torre for this mess.

I am amazed how an $180 million dollar team could have such a horrible bench and such mediocre starting pitching.

our offense scores enough runs for us to be undefeated this season, really, our pitching staff is a joke right now... pettite has been great, had we had a healthy wang, who knows, but imagine if we had another quality starter, a guy like Bedard, or hell, lilly has been pitching great, imagine what our record would be now..

What are you talking about man... he killed that ball. He absolutely scorched that... you can't do anything about that.

And Posada has had a great season so far..

When the Tampa Bay contingent steps in and tampers that's why I let Cashman do his job.

Cashman brought in Alex Rodriguez , Bobby Abreu, the Pavano move was a good move the only thing is no one knew ICU-ANO was going to be his nickname

Cashman influenced moves

kept

Cano
Melky
Tabata
Hughes
Wang

brought in

Johnny Damon FA

didn't want

Giambi (a Tampa contingent source varified that)
Sheffield at all (GS)

The Tampa contingent doesn't have any input at all anymore. It's all Cashman. It's all him now... since the middle of 2005.

Cashman brought in Alex Rodriguez , Bobby Abreu, the Pavano move was a good move the only thing is no one knew ICU-ANO was going to be his nickname

Abreu and Arod were good, but there is no way that Pavano was a good move. He was a injury prone pitcher who only had one good year which was in 2004 even before we signed him. That was not a good signing by Cashman.

Cashman influenced moves

kept

Cano
Melky
Tabata
Hughes
Wang

brought in

Johnny Damon FA

Cashman influenced moves:
Jose Contreras
Jeff Weaver
Javier Vasquez
Kevin Brown
Carl Pavano

5 pitchers, 5 busts.

didn't want

Giambi (a Tampa contingent source varified that)
Sheffield at all (GS)

Yet he wanted Pavano and Igawa...
