:-?

But as long as Hughes is out, Igawa will be our 5th...or even Rasner possibly. Then again, Yankees could always still get Zambrano, longshot after getting Clemens, but you never know.

Great signing.I expected him to sign with us anyways cause in my franchise in mlb 2k7 i signed him in early may as well

Clemens came into the booth during the game and Michael Kay and Al Leiter were asking him questions. And Kay asked him when do u think you are going to make your 1st start? Clemens said that he hopes to return by the end of the month or the 1st of June.

Do you know who the Yankees play at the end of the month and early June? The Boston Red Sox

I dont think that Roger is gonna be dominant. Its never easy to go from the NL to the AL.I do expect him to pitch well for the most part. All in all he is better than most of our bum ass starters so now we might have some stability. Now with Pavano gone,no more rookie pitchers coming up and maybe even Igawa will be sent to the bullpen.

Once Hughes return i hope he goes back into the rotation which wil look like this:
1.Clemens
2.Wang
3.Pettitte
4.Mussina
5.Hughes

I really like that rotation than the one we had before

o hell yea! I was getting nervous and doubting he would come back, but in dramatic fashion he proves me wrong! Now we have a solid veteran rotation with guys in triple A that have made a few starts already. Darrell should be kept on the roster and should be in the rotation for the rest of the month. This guy is solid and has proven his worth many times. When Roger nd Hughes come back Darrell should go to the bullpen to see how he fairs as a reliever. He should be able to help us in the 6th or 7th innings of games.

The biggest reason why I love this signing is the impact Roger will have on Hughes. I think he will have the same impact as he did on Andy. The biggest thing would be how to stay in shape and strength and conditioning. Clemens is a demon when it comes to this stuff, its the sole reason why he is still pitching.

I cant stop drooling over this news!
Wang
Moose
Pettite
Clemens
Hughes

Baring any additional injuries, i think we should be winning consistently with the run support the line up will give them. I cant wait until the end of the month when Roger and hughes join the team!
