vlad has always been a great player, but a bad pitch hitter who takes a ton of bad swings and has gotten a lot of hits off a quick bat and brut strength, but as he has gotten older, the bat slows and those bad swings don't connect. I guess that is why his HR production has gone down so much this year.....

The problem with rivera is that his great stuff often results in bad swings, which a lot of time when connected upon leads to bloopers, choppers and broken bat hits..... Remember when we beat kevin brown like that in the 98 WS vs the padres. we scored 3 runs and the ball never left the infield with the exception of one blooper hit. Brown lost that game of course but he was filthy!!!

  I remember that. Brown was so filthy that game. We cheap hit him to death.

Rivera didn't give up one solid hit that inning.

Why do you still post here? All you do is insult people. You make Kandi look like Einstein.

And FYI, I said "looks like", not "he will."

"Cheap hits" are a part of baseball. The Yankees and every other team get them. That's not an excuse.

Rivera gives up more cheap hits than anybody in the game and that's not even debatable.
