I think that someone has to set the team straight.

Torre or a player needs to call out the team and motivate them. This is just ridiculous. We have arguably the best lineup in baseball and we cant score for **** nowadays

It actually was a good game though. Great pitching dual. We just got the outs we needed to win.

 Enjoy it while it lasts.

I have no problem with Mets fans coming over and ribbing us, please don't call them trolls. Just let them enjoy it while it lasts.

I guess you won't be minding it all season.

We get up for these games? Look how many damn Yankee fans there were today. Stop talking with that better than thou attitude because truth is, you aint.

Past years, Mets v. Yanks was the only thing we could be proud of. It was our season. Now we have a beautiful team and this series doesnt mean as much to us than you.

Please Yankee fans, before yall keep talking sh--, win some ball games.

You know what it is? FEAR. Yankee fans for the first time in a long time are fearful of what they might see when they watch the Yankees play. They are at a loss for words. But I'm sure if they continue to be in the toilet, it won't be long before they hop on the Mets bandwagon...like they all did in the 80's.

Did you see the Mets fans in the game thread in your forum? They were acting like they won the World Series.

Don't play games with me, this is the World Series to you guys. It's just another series to us. The Yankees have always been #1 in this town and the Mets have always been second fiddle and this series means so much more to you guys because you guys want to get rid of that stigma.

I can't take this team. Someone needs to pull this goddamn team aside and set a fire. This was the game they needed to win this series. If we can't hit Oliver Perez or guys like Horatio Ramirez then what are we even watching this team for? This is the worst I've seen this team in years and I'm being straight up honest about that. Other than the pitchers, the SS, and the catcher it doesn't seem like anypne cares whether we win or lose and those are the type of guys I don't want on this team. I can't take this anymore. If we lose tomorrow....I honestly don't know if I'm gonna watch anymore. I'm that serious. I can't handle this awful team. I think I'm losing it.

How is this the world series to us? We were one base hit from the world series last season. This is just pretty amusing. A Rod was god a couple weeks ago and now Yankee fans are bashing him again. I find it pretty humorous.

Go read your game thread today. I thought I was in time warp back to 1986.

I wish I was in the 70s to have experienced that championship.

Unlike a lot of yankee fans my age who always talk about their titles and havent seen 90% of them.
