2mmorow we have Mussina vs Byrd

Den after that matchup we have Pettitte vs Westbrook

-We should win game 3. so its a series win for us. Book it.

Joba the Yankee is amazing. All three pitchers sent into the game today made me cry tears of joy.

This was just an unbelievable night. Hughes was filthy, Joba was filthy, and as usual Mo was filthy.

In addition, Gagne chokes up a 5 run lead and Okajima blows the game.

Bliss!

Yup. All those nights spent looking at the minor league box scores and reading articles on these guys, it really is just amazing seeing it coming to fruition before our eyes.

I had to work tonight so I didnt get to see the game... :nonono: ....but I did follow it online. Sounds like Hughes and Joba did awesome.....its so awesome to see these guys finally up in the BIGS showing the world why they were so coveted by the Yankees. Im glad our management never gave into any trades where we wouldve had to give either of these guys up. They are the future of the Yanks!

Hughes is filthy...Joba just overpowers hitter....and Mo is Mo. This is impressive, and I think that this team is really dangerous if our youngins keep producing.

I liked the game a lot. I was watching it with some people who thought that Hughes was overhyped and claimed Joba was worthless because they never heard of him. They all ate some crow tonight. Only thing is, I hope this doesn't become a trend. Starter goes 6 then Joba or Vizcaino go 2 and Mo in the 9th. More than Vizcaino, I really don't want to see Joba's arm gone. -Jitpal

Until you could think of a better plan, this is how it just might go in close games. Look at the rest of the bullpen...Bowers, Karstens, Farnsworth, Villone. You think we could really rely on them? Until they could even show that they could pitch when we're up 5+ without giving the other team a chance, a starter going 6+, to Vizcaino/Chamberlain, to Mo is the best course right now. Of course our bats could always provide our defense by scoring 16 runs.
