Hmmm....the guy averaged 5.9 innings a start last year in the NL. I dunno about this --- it's an awful amount of money(even though it's not my money).

I was expecting her to bring the # 22 jersey to him soaked personally, thank god Robi isn't wearing #22 Suzanne probably would have sprinted on the field and ripped off his back :)

I don't understand why not though? We desperatly need the help. Everyone on the team is ok with it. It's not like hes gonna fly to Houston when we take a 3 day trip to Toronto, Boston, or Cleveland.

As long as he doesn't have long hair or excessive facial hair, the Yankees will do just about anything for starting pitching.

Anyone know Roger's first start? I have tickets for June 2 Red Sox Yankees... I heard it's rumored to be Clemens/Dice-K... I'm kinda pumped...

it's not going to be vs the Red Sox , most likely vs the Pirates I don't think he'll debut and risk criticism vs the Soxs, although it would prove he has a sack if he does debut vs the Red Sox

Torre says not to rule out Clemens versus Boston in that first series in June... I say it'll happen.

I think so too. He is probably going to pitch next Thursday, Friday, or Saturday down in Tampa, which would put him on pace to pitch either June 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. All 3 games in Boston.

gave up a homerun in the 1st inning tonite. Not concerned considering he did that last year too
