Another road series against a good division rival, if we can win this series also that would be a great start to 2010. I like all 3 pitching matchups.

It's really important that the Yankees beat up on the Rays early. If the Rays are far back enough, they will trade away some of their guys and they won't be a threat later in the year. If they prove early on that they can hang with the Yankees and the Red Sox, Tampa will be forced to keep the team together or make moves to get better. I'd hate to be watching a 3 team race, all within a few games of each other in late August and September. If the Yankees take care of business early, they can relax a little late. -Jitpal

Javy is looking worse than he did the first time around as a Yankee.

Relax, it's just one game. If he puts up a dozen of these starts then you can complain. He looked great early. He wasn't finishing his pitches when he was getting hit around. Might have been a fatigue thing, he'll be fine. -Jitpal

At least Tex broke out of his little slump. Canos still off to the hot start. Considering he has always been 2nd half player, if he can put together a good first half he's going to put up a ridiculous season.

Holy crap, what a catch by Tex, keeping the (censored) alive.

The defensive plays in this game by both teams are amazing.

A-rod follows it up with an amazing play of his own!

The freaking dive alone was amazing, but I thought the (censored) was gone. Perfect throw.

Great 8th we're having.

Damn it...so close.

It's Joe Buck. He kept mentioning it. Was it a perfect game? No, but the a-hole didn't have to keep mentioning it.
