I feel bad for the guy, he doesn't deserve the death threats I heard he is getting. He seems like a decent guy.
But being a decent guy does not earn you a place on the Yankees. Javy is clearly spineless and cannot handle this team. He failed once and he never should have returned. Melky might not be good but Vazquez's presence alone hurts this team. Cashman made a huge blunder with this one.
Some people just aren't mentally built to be a Yankee. This guy is one of them, and the sooner they realize that the better. At least Wang had an excuse. I'd rather have Sergio Mitre start, he's bad but at least he fights.

Andruw Jones IS hitting .259 WITH 6 home runs, but Mark Kotsay hitting .108 are you kidding me?. obviously Javier lacks mental toughness. because he has the stuff to be good pitcher. hopefully he turns it around soon.
what a great play by jorge posada...

Great job out of the pen from Mitre. Maybe he can come in valuable for games such as todays, where the starter doesn't have his stuff and so the pen doesn't get overworked. Park should be coming back soon too, so hopefully the pen starts to straighten their early struggles out.

I like Mitre as a long reliever.
Too bad Marte is worthless outside of the post season.

all of cashmans winter moves are flops at the moment

All of his moves have been flops to this point, but the team is still 15-7. That's saying something. Once Granderson, Johnson, Vasquez actually perform the way they should (or at least better then they are now), this is going to be a tough team to keep down.

im not holding my breath for that
the pen is shot at the moment, just lost the starting CF....arod and tex need to start producing
kinda ironic the 2 replacements we brought in was to get younger, and both of them have been injured this year, go figure

I'm confident Granderson will do better. He hasn't been awful by any means. I'm not a Nick Johnson fan but he will make himself useful. Vazquez though, ugh.
