As pissed as I am that he of all people threw a perfect game, at least it was against the Rays.

Give him props for throwing the perfect game, fellas -- don't hate. I was just as critical of his comments as the next Yankee fan, but I also love to see guys rise above the critics with their play on the field. I'm not a Dallas Braden fan by any means, and I still think the guy is a punk. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't crack a smile when I saw he threw a perfect game after I'd just explained the entire situation the previous night to my sister, a conversation in which I referred to Braden as, "some bum with an ERA over 4.00, who isn't very good."
LOL @ me. Gotta love it when the universe force-feeds you crow you never knew you had coming to you.
