Phillies @ Yankees

Post#1 » by Wade2k6 » Tue Jun 15, 2010 5:12 pm

Game 1: MLB Network, 7:05
Halladay vs. Sabathia

Game 2: ESPN, 7:05
Kendrick vs. Burnett

Game 3: MLB Network, 7:05
Moyer vs. Pettite

Game 1 pitching matchup gives the Phils an advantage with the way Sabathia has been throwing so far this year, but Game 2 and 3 the Yankees have a much larger advantage. Should take 2 out of 3 this series, especially without Hamels throwing.

Great matchup tonight. Must take 2 out of 3 with the pitching matchups, especially the way the Phils have been hitting this month.

With Alex's future a complete toss up, it was important for the Yanks to show that they can give CC the run support he needs...and they did. I love the Yanks line up. Top to bottom so balanced that even when they don't hit homers, they can manufacture runs.

when burnett stinks, he really goes all out at doing it.. the walks, the blocking of a potential DP ball.. the 4 runs given up so far.. geez!!

Let's just call A.J. Burnett consistently inconsistent

what a awful, spineless display from burnett, he quit today as evidenced by him not covering 1st base....cant believe we got 3 more years of this clown

posada was bad too behind the plate, this is 2nd year now, and he still cant catch AJ

tampa loses again, so we are still tied for first, but now just 2 games up on the sox.. really very dissapointing last two games of the series.. two of the most hittable pitchers in the league.. Moyer and this bum kendrick and we get shut down.. Honestly this is becomming a problem. we should have been in first place with at least a game or two lead... losing this series is inexcuseable especially looking at the pitching we faced..

A-rod may not be productive at all this year, and tex is playing like a friggin bum.. really those two guys are dragging down the offense. if not for cano, jeter and swisher, and now granderson, we would be dead in the water.. How long can we continue this way?

tex is a joke, he wags his bat too much and is really susceptible to the chageup and has basically become a pull hitter, he needs to swallow his pride and go to long to get help...if he cant do that, bench him

arod seems hurt to me
