Im going to my first yankee game ever, its in seattel
just woundering if theres anything i should know

being a yankee fan in portland oregon is pretty damn hard

Yankees should beat up on them pretty good. Seattle is a struggling team. Enjoy the game. My first Yankees game was in Atlanta a 3 game series against the Braves. Got Chein Ming Wang and Alfredo Aceves autograph. Also got a ball thrown to me twice by Angel Berroa. I dropped the second one though I still can't believe it.

Funny you should mention your first Yankee game ever will be at Safeco.

I've been to numerous games at the Old Stadium, was practically raised there. Pops had season tickets through his job behind the on-deck circle of the 3rd base side when we weren't so much the toast in the town, back when Donnie Baseball's career was being wasted away behind the likes of Mel Hall, Jessie Barfield and Alvero Espinoza. I even shed a tear at the Final Game, it was a piece of childhood memory.

But it's going to be a "First Yankee Game" of sorts for me as well, as I just moved out here to Seattle a few weeks ago. I've been dying to get down to Safeco and catch a game, but I've held off knowing the Yanks will be in town the 2nd week in July.

I'm going on Thursday, definitely...and probably Saturday as well. I really want to see Hughes throw, so if he doesn't land on either of these 2 days I might be forced to buy a ticket on Fri or Sun.

Enjoy the game, I know I will. Sucks that you have to travel up all the way up here to catch a game...I'm going to know how that feels when I drive down to you when LeBron and my Knicks are in town.

The Drive aint so bad maybe 4 hours

I had to give in and get a suite for a hotel room thats all that was left
every hotel seem booked solid for the yankee seires

I'm going to be in the US for a month (hopefully) in mid-2011, so I hope I get a chance to see a Yankees game. That would be awesome.
