I'd have to go Steinbrenner, Ruth, Gehrig, and Yogi / DiMaggio. Mantle, Jeter (by the time he retires) next in line.

I honestly don't think its possible to narrow it down to 4, there are a number of guys on the same level of importance and accomplishments.
