Tuesday: 7:05 - Hughes vs Pineiro (Kazmir was scheduled to start and placed on the DL yesterday)

Yeah, the Angels are gonna go with Sean O'Sullivan. It's not looking pretty over here for Angel fans.

Yankees had a decent rally going in the first inning. Bases loaded with 1 out and Posada grounds out on a 3-1 pitch and Granderson strikes out.

Yankees offense has done nothing since the first inning. Hughes is getting beat by scrubs, Jeter swings and grounds out on the first pitch all of the time and Granderson cant even catch a baseball.

FRUSTRATING!

Hughes? Try the whole team. Defense sucked and the offense sucked. Yankees were on the verge of knocking out this pitcher in the first inning and they get dominated.

For what it's worth (nothing), but I do think the ump squeezed Hughes big time tonight.

Hughes has given up far too many homeruns at YS. He really does need to learn how to pitch at the stadium. He did get squeezed by the umps. He got f'ed over more by his defense. Jeter has zero range from SS and Granderson missed a flyball in CF.

Yeah a little, but Hughes was still giving up bullets left and right. He wasn't helped out by the ump, the defense, or the offense, but you don't deserve to win if you need to rely on luck to get there. Tomorrow should be a good pitching matchup though.
