Damon on Waivers

If he makes it through, do we try to strike a deal? I'd love to have him back for the stretch run, he's a rental and he's making dirt. We could probably get him for a couple of middling prospects...

He's having a representative year too - I think we've gotta go for it. Bring him in, get Austin Keirns the hell outta here.

It'd be interesting...I think the offense really suffered without Damon.

Offense didn't suffer without Damon.

Offense suffered because the Yankees got a broken down Nick Johnson without Damon.

Offense suffered because Jeter is having his worst season in his 14 year career and is hitting .270 from the leadoff position.

Offense suffered because Teixeira was cold as ice for the first 3 months of the season.

Arod and Posada have both hit the DL. Cervelli has been given a ton of at bats.

Granderson did nothing besides hit a homerun here and there until his current hot streak.

Yankees offense cant score runs against scrubs and rookies.

That all being said, the Yankees still lead MLB in runs scored.
