Roid Sox claim Damon off of Waivers

Damon has 48 hours to accept the deal. Heyman is reporting that it is less likely that Damon wants to go back to Boston. He already ruined his legacy in Boston, is he willing to do it in NY?

He should just stay with Detroit. Neither team is going to make the postseason. Why bother being a traitor in two cities?

DETROIT -- Detroit Tigers outfielder Johnny Damon isn't taking this to the final day. He decided on Tuesday to block a waiver trade that would have returned him to the Boston Red Sox.

"I feel we can make a strong push and that's why I am going to stay," Damon said. "I love playing for Detroit, the city, the fans and these teammates.
