Even though they lost, I still think this game was a postive. Logan and Wood pitched well, Pettite didn't get hurt, and the offense deciced to show up late. If A-Rod and Tex can catch fire before the post-season starts, I'd be scared if I were the Twins.

And I hope A-Rod can get that 30th homer, he just doesn't seem to want to give up that record.

That Record is going to be broken by Pujols anyways. It's funny to look at ARod's stats and see 1997. It's like, what in the World happened that year?

27 HR's and 117 RBI"s? In a season where he missed a ton of games. WOW!

Not necessarily. All it takes is 1 injury-plagued season to ruin it.

Lester with a no hitter through 5 innings.

God forbid the Yankees win one lousy game and get the WC wrapped up. Magic number of 3 and they want to make next weekends game in Boston mean something.

Thanks to Clueless Joe 2.0 and Cashman for punting games left and right.

Actually, that's not why I am upset with Girardi. He should be resting guys like Jeter, Tex, A-Rod, and Swisher especially with Lester up there and Nova starting.

Gaudin is awful. Former Rays pitcher, and I am glad he is "former".....

It's going to be 2004 all over again. GOD FORBID THE YANKEES OFFENSE SHOWS UP.

Bye Bye Jeter

Bye Bye Girardi.

A 5 year old generates more bat speed than Jeter. Go retire old man.

Again, you can make all the Girardi insults you want but hey, who's to blame for a team that can't hit Dice K who is carrying a 4.66 ERA? You can't manage that.

This is an older team that is out of gas right now...

You can blame Clueless Joe 2.0 for continuing to put the worst player in baseball in the leadoff role.

I'll start with that.
