i guess damon is the better hitter, but jones plays more OF spots and hence gets the nod

Haven't seen Jones play in recent years. Can he still even play the OF? Some people I've talked to said that he's basically a DH at this point.

Keeping my expectations EXTREMELY low but the Yanks NEED depth. The only thing I don't like it cuts into that kid Golson who has a GUN for an arm. He nailed Carl Crawford from RF stretching for a triple.
