If you don't believe in collusion...you're lying to yourself.

No, seriously. WTF! Like I can't get over it. Maybe the GMs are colluding but why would Arte Moreno agree to take on that albatross when he didn't even want to give that money to Carl Crawford. Like WTF! -Jitpal

Collusion? Please explain this.....

As for the move, I'm still shaking my head.

So you won't pay 20mil for crawford but will trade and pay the 20mil to wells? huh?

Its not even that, I still don't get how they even gave up 2 players that are useful for someone that was going for 2 cents on the dollar, hell maybe even 1 cent.

Toronto can now allocate that money to re-signing bautista and going wild in the draft with 7 of the first 80 picks. In case you don't know, ever since Anthopolous took over, they have become dedicated to drafting / scouting in order to compete and now they have even more resources to spend. This is literally a franchise changing move.

yea i agree, im not gonna lie, but the prospects in the east are tough

you got BOS, NYY, TOR and TAM using the farm route, and even BALT coming up (their pen is stacked too)

i think NYY FO needs to continue to focus on the farm, not just college, but international scouts too
