Looks like the Red Sox are going to go all in this weekend at Yankee stadium. Going Bucholtz, Beckett, and Lester against Colon, Sabbathia, Garcia there's doubt in my mnd that Boston wants a sweep so they can get back into the race. Can they? Red Sox might also pick the worst time because the Yanks offense seems to be coming out of it.

Cano needs to tighten up his fielding. I don't care if he's hitting .350, he needs to play like we know he can in the field. He took us out of that game last night with two costly mistakes.

Maybe but I was amused by the Boston media laying it thick on Colon regarding HGH and surgery. Pretty typical by the their media because Clon was a big bust with Bozton and he he comes pitches well for the Yanks. That always chaps them.

So Jorge removed himself from the lineup and intends to address the media. I love Posada and I know he's struggling so far, but I hope he doesn't announce retirement. It would be weird rooting for a yankees team without one the core three.

So posada feels disrespected? He's hitting .165 and yet we are still letting him keep his DH spot,but somehow he feels disrespected. This is the problem that I had with Jeter early. They have such a strong sense of entitlement that you have to be very patient to make sure you don't offend them.

Well, Teixiera and ARod have been pathetic, just pathetic. As for Posada, it's just media blather, but the way he's hitting I sure hope that Chavez' foot heals quickly.

Hey Girardi was catching with Posada...he's a human being, he has to massage the egos of these guys whose best days are behind them. The irony, Torre would have benched Jorge instead of dropping him to 9 and one wonders if Girardi should have done the same.

As for the series, it's all about the offense. As a unit, the Yanks are not hitting together.
