same here, but I check online and see the yanks up 5-1 and soon as I do that, burnett gives up a two run homer to some clown , bum who hit two homers all year.. now the score is 5-3.. time for the collapse to start...

Fuld was Crawford's replacement, hitting the home run didn't bother me. The two wild pitches in this inning are really trying my patience because after the HR, AJ got 2 quick outs. Now, BJ Upton crushes a ball after AJ got 2 strikes on him and Russell Martin couldn't get the pop up.

replacing carl crawford means nothing.. the guy is a light hitting guy and AJ lets him get a big homer, but you are right, the wild pitches are just ridiculous...

all I have to say is that things are reaching a critical level. No pitching and we we fianally get hitting we can't protect leads. the way burnett just gave up a 4 run lead was just so unprofessional. really, I expect that from a rookie pitcher or some journeyman bum.... this is just inexcuseable performances and breakdowns!!!

This does not look like a playoff team.

watching burnett implode follwed by the yankee bats turning into noodles was all I needed to see... swisher, A-rod both one pitch and one out at bats... tex has been nothing but average offensively since he has been here... I would get rid of this whole group with the exception of cano and granderson if I could....

It's a frustrating loss for sure. Yanks definitely need to clear their heads. I think it's all mental. Just something about this team that worries me right now. Notice, Tampa's averages are not much better but they hit better as a team.

Yanks can turn this around but there is a lot of BAD AIR t hat needs to be cleared ASAP.

this

the team had a chance to build a nice cushion lead in the GB column when BS and TB were struggling, now they are either tied of ahead in the standings, and both have better teams

Why is there so much hate on Tex? .879 OPS is not too shabby.

This team is an old bore to watch... I wish we can become sellers at the deadline.

While I would love to keep enjoying the misery, the Yanks will get out of this spell......and the bats will come alive.

I hope they extend it just a while longer though.....LOL

david robertson bails out nova... this guy is a beast and afte we wasted so much money on that fool soriano, we better not balk at paying robertson whatever he wants.. He is becoming one of the better relief pitchers in the game. Great stuff and has a knack for getting out of tight spots he inherits.
