the offense is starting to scare me. Outside of the Orioles, the team can't get an RBI.

Big win for the Yanks and it puts them back in first, one loss less than Tampa. The key was the 7th when AJ was bailed out by the pen. Of course, this was all about the home run. Disturbing that the Yanks have no one hitting over .300...Still, I'll take the win.

Through 6....Either Pelfrey is THAT good or again, Yanks can't manufacture runs. It's either the home run or nothing. Even after a win, I am concerned because the home run is not always going to be there.
Despite giving up 10 hits, I did like Nova's scrappy performance but he can't believe this is going to work in the second half of the season.

Jetes proves me wrong with a little left in the gas tank! Jeter's crucial hit in the 7th ties the game and knocks out Pelfrey. The Yanks feast on the Mets pen. Great late inning win.
Next, up the Maple Jays!

So the 8 runs in that inning came with Swisher out of the lineup? Of course, there was no one to kill the rally.

Huge MLB fan, but not a fan of the Mets or Yankees in particular. Would love to invade Citi Field as a Yankees fan. Would be too scare to invade Yankee Stadium as a Mets fan.
