Speculation: Kershaw to Yankees

Now before everyone goes nuts and starts saying that there is no chance he could become a Yankee, you have to take many things under consideration:
1.) Steve Garvey was fired by the team for his public attempts to buy out owner Frank McCourt
2.) A Delaware judge denied a request by the Los Angeles Dodgers to order MLB to turn over documents in the team’s bankruptcy case
3.) Attendance is down nearly 20 percent from last year
***Bottom line is this situation is an absolute mess and gets uglier and uglier by the day. I realize Kershaw is a stud (leads the league in K's and is going for his 3rd straight season with an ERA under 3), but I honestly think he can be had.
The Yankees currently have 3 of the top 50 minor league prospects and with Nova pitching well this year (8-4), I think there is a chance we can make a play for him. At the end of the day us giving them a call and seeing if something could happen would not hurt.
