Yes and yes.

I can't say enough great things about Ivan Nova. Yea, I know this kid doesn't have that killer stuff that makes guys go "WOW!" but he's gritty, understands how to mix his pitches and change velocity. He KNOWS how to battle.

Even when he had nothing vs KC, the kid BATTLED....and that's pitching.
