Anyone see the Detroit Tigers score two TDs and a FG last night? Damn.

Yanks are facing a pitcher with a 9.07 ERA....time to STAT pad!!!!!

Montero could finish with 3 hits from now till the end of the season and I'll be happy. last quarter season has deceptive stats. Guys called up go on unbelievable streaks. For now, I want Montero to get comfortable...

and could it be...Scott Proctor LIVES!

People will start paying to see Montero play. Jeter, ARod, Cano, that's just a nice little bonus.

Let's wait a little bit before saying such nonsense. We are talking about a football score today. A O's starter with a 9 ERA...and a pen that is horrific.

While I have faith in Montero, let's see this kid after pitchers have seen him a few times...

That's the problem, the DH position is primarily used to save wear 'n' tear of Posada, A-Rod, Jeter, and Tex. Do you risk Montero getting hurt like Buster Posey or Mauer by putting him behind the plate?

Montero won't catch much this year as he has never worked with any of the SP minus Nova. I bet we will see him for a spot start or two, but I can't believe we let Posada DH over him, he's a bum.

Anyway, Detfink how about your Indians? Still scared of them or are you finally realizing they had a soft schedule to start the year like I said and just aren't that good.

As I've said countless times, Detroit is the lone team I'm scared of. V-Mart and Miggy dominate us and Verlander is going to be tough to beat especially in a 5 game series.

Why don't you stop acting like you know something when you don't?

I've said since the VERY beginning when the Yanks lost the series in Detroit that the Tigers were legit. If you don't believe me, scroll back to that series...I was responding to Pharmcat's frustration.

And BTW Jimenez didn't do too bad against the Tigers despite taking the loss...7 innings 8Ks 3ERs against an offense that puts up FOOTBALL scores.

He's had three rounds against the Tigers. Outside of one meltdown, he's adjusting well to the AL. It'll take till next season for him to make that transition but I still believe the Indians who are young team with moxie are definitely a team on the rise. Consider last year how they were....this season they gave teams trouble...and this is a team that average MLB fans couldn't name more than 5 guys on that roster.

EVERY team is a threat to the Yanks....so WHAT the Yanks beat the Red Sox and are in first place. Have we forgotten how FLAT the Yanks came out last season?

Forget Verlander for a minute. Right now, if the playoffs started are we going to get CC's performance last year? If so, it's not going to matter who we face. Because AJ, Hughes, and Nova have question marks....

That's what I am saying...

BTW I think Posada heard Pharmcat. Jorge hit a homer and it's 1-0 Yanks.
