The final series of the regular season and I can't remember a time when I was curious to see what would happen if the Yanks got swept and I'd feel good about it. In fact, this is such a farce I would hold celebrity auction each start. Can you imagine the money pouring into the hands of the Steinbrenners:

Now starting game 1 vs David Price....Lady Gaga. And you know what, most of us wouldn't give a **** because we are praying the Sawx and Rays tie and have to play an elimination game.

So sit back and enjoy the ride...hopefully we'll see more Betanes and Brackman.

Jeter, A-Rod sat out the second game of the double header vs. the Sawx. I think A-Rod is just trying to get in a groove at the plate.

Cano and Granderson hopefully will get a came off. Gardner hitting .259 is worrying me. Signs of late last year around this time.

Hughes didn't look good. 2 walks...and that's his problem. Guys are fouling off his fast ball and WAITING for that change up.

I thought Brackman is getting more comfortable on the mound. I think he could be a good reliever to turn to in the 7th or even the 8th if Robertson needs rest next season.

Tonight, Colon doesn't need to win but AT LEAST show he can last 5-6 innings looking decent. Get another look at Hellickson who Boston writer, Bob Ryan says is the TRUE ROY over Ivan Nova.

Colon pitches 6 shutout innings while striking out 10 followed by Proctor giving the game to the Rays in the late innings and Showalter egging his birds on to defeat the Sox would be a perfect day.
