As the Red Sox gave Tito a ticket out of Boston (thanks to Theo's foolishness), i was reminded of when every one got butt hurt over Joe Torre. In a tale of two cities, the Yankees stuck with Torre after the historic collapse in 2004 playoffs when a new breed of fearful Yankee fans were born. Boston didn't waste any time...in an almost Steinbrenner-esque move.
But in all of this I wonder, how long is too long for a manager?
