its easy to knock him for all his flaws, but its hard t o say that he doesnt care or try

Do you remember A-Rod in Spring Training and then to start the year before he got hurt? He's still got it, I expect a big year from him IF he stays healthy.

Hey every year this guy looks like a gazelle in training camp...but no way can this guy's body hold up at the hot corner over 162 games at his age. So long as Cashman and Girardi work on saving Alex's bat by giving him the DH (now that Posada is gone) with fill-ins at 3B...I think he'll be fine.

my point is that athletes always claim they are in the best shape of their life in the off season. Most of those claims are probably true but playing during the season is totally different.

my point was that at least he tries and cares
