Cisco sent down to AAA for Chris Stewart?

What the F? the Yankees traded a bullpen arm for a career scrub who cant hit?

Cervill has hit .270 in his 3 seasons in the bronx which isn't really that bad for a backup catcher. He has ok defense and gives the team a ton of energy.

Chris Stewart? oooo he is a .200 hitter that sucks.

Great move Cashman!

the only thing I can think of is that Romine is still hurt and the Yankees wanted an experienced catcher down in triple A to catch.

Well like I said, due to Romine being hurt the Yankees wanted a catcher with experience in triple A.

Stewart at least is great defensively and can throw out runners but he brings nothing to the plate.

Love this deal. He's got a canon for an arm. Good insurance policy. Never liked Cervelli and his theatrics behind the plate.

Well, it's part of that sports love affair when a guy is called up and has those moments.

It's understandable but Cervelli hasn't shown me much of anything over the years...outside of being a back up.
