No Teixera during the BoSawx series would raise some eyebrows except for the fact that the Yankees haven't missed him after overcoming the loss of A-rod. It's also nice to see Cano get a little time off. Credit that to the offensive numbers from Swisher, Chavez, and Jeter.
Pretty much, the front office has enough confidence in this team's bench to hold the fort till CC Sabbathia, Pettitte, A-Rod return to the fold.
An odd season full of injuries and yet, the Yanks keep purring along with Tampa lurking 5 back.
Meanwhile, the White Sox have been in a funk and it'll be interesting to see how the Yanks do against them with Detroit licking their chops at AL Central First place. Do the Yanks want another series against Detroit opening round? Kind of scary if you ask me.
Needless to say, the make shift rotation has done well. Hope it continues that way.
