White Sox (56-80)@New York (73-64): Now or never

Thanks to the pen making up for blowing a shut out by Andy Pettitte, the Yanks shutdown the White Sox offensively and put a whupping on them offensively. With Tampa losing their fifth straight, the Yanks are a mere 3 games from the second wild card.

This team made its decision at the trading deadline. No one was moved. Soriano was added. Hence, the Yanks are all in for making the post season. That is indicative of their mission statement that every year the Yanks aim for the World Series.

Now comes the faith. Do YOU believe they can make the post season?

Tonight, Kuroda takes the mound. Huge game.

Wow, Wells steals home! Granted he needed another runner to do so, it was still exciting.

Yanks win, O's lose. Deficit cut to 3. Now need Angels to hurt Tampa again.
