Cano with a bunch of scrubs last yr was better then this. This offense is just awful! The team is lucky to score 2 runs a game and if they ever get behind the game is over because they can't fight back..

Cano doesn't even lead his own team in RBIs. Mark Teixiera who has missed time is only 5 behind him.

That said, adding Carlos Beltran and McCann hasn't hasn't made a LICK of a difference. Those are BAD contracts right off the bat.

Once again, the Braves are used carsalesman. Yankees should NOT have a GM who never scouted in his life and relies SOLELY on the people under him to make the right decisions. That's a KNICK front office move.

Beltran is finished. It's painful to see because I've always liked him and he's always wanted to be a Yankee, but that contract alone should be enough to tell Cashman to take a hike.

We should have just overpaid Cano, he's better than all the scrubs Cashman brought in combined.

Yup, I agreed with you in the off season regarding McCann and Beltran, those moves were horrid. I don't know how Cash-man still has a job, he's turned us into the Cowboys.

The pen looks taxed. Sending Shawn Kelly out there every game is insane.

Why does Cashman bite on those horrible moves? Well it's because:

1. He's not a scout

2. He's deathly afraid of rolling the dice on international talent

3. He can use "Well this player had this kind of season last few years." excuse.

4. He can always talk about the lack of draft position as the other excuse.

ALL of those FA signings had a red flag. Ellsbury hasn't shown the power he had during that ONE season in Boston. McCann caught way too many games in ATL and was already showing signs of wear and tear. Beltran's age...

Tanaka was signed because Cashman had to to do it. But I don't know why he didn't try to add another arm with Kuroda's arm overworked and CC already in decline...and Pineda's health.

What a disaster...

The offense is dreadful and other than Tanaka the pitching is very average.... we are in trouble if we don't start hitting..

Ellsbury.....dud

Beltran.....dud

Mccan...dud

Goodbye CC.

Should have kept Cano.
Beltran is such a waste. So is McCann.
