ARod has been the Yankees best starter this season...by far. The only other high priced guy that has come remotely close to living up to expectations has been reliever/closer Andrew Miller. Everyone other big name has been anywhere from mediocre to gosh darn absolute awful.

So good for ARod and Yankee fans.

It's only a game...A Rod is an insignificant blip on the Yankees greatness list.

Thanks for helping win one game in April. Lord and savior? Just...no!

and yankee fans talk about Mets fans... man a guy posted about the Mets and yankee fans were all over them about . Freaking lets celebrate a cheater who was suspended for 1 yr and the Yankees did not want back....whats those records again although early in the season who has the more promising future? Younger better pitching? deeper pitching prospects?
How does it feel? At least my team did not cheat its way to winning the subway series
Yankee 2000 World Series Players Mentioned in Mitchell Report
How could the Mets beat this bunch of Yankee Users? This list started as a joke and then it took on a life of its own.

Throw in Shane Spencer = DUI.

Yep. Here's an article that mentions about what likely was the cause of his decline and also the reason for his apparent return to form...

http://www.businessinsider.com/alex-rodriguez-arod-surgery-mlb-yankees-2015-4

...the author does have some valid points. It's not the terrific production in such a small sample size, it's the speed of his bat and the distance that he's hitting the ball...both of which are way up from previous seasons.

As a Yankee fan, I welcome anything that can help this team win. One would have to assume that ARod would not be dumb enough o still be juicing so, if he's not, keep going Alex!

Alex hasn't had problems hitting in April but October. While Yankee fans can only hope he stays healthy, it's only been 12 games out of 162 games.

The Tigers lowered the boom on him, going into the Subway series he's hitting .267.

Cautiously optimistic.

Never have I seen such an underwhelming reaction to 3,000 hits...and sadly, that is due to the Scarlet letter A-Rod has. What might have been? When you have world class talent like that, there is NO REASON to juice.

And yet, I can't get excited because he's been caught TWICE for PEDs.

He's still doing this. Unless he's just discovered and undetectable drug, he's clean while hitting monster HRs 3 at a time. The guy can't run or field any more, but he's the best Yankee DH in memory.

Gotta admire his current performance and his overall attitude.

Damn Arod.... U didn't need PEDs... U have all world talent. This guy is on beast mode right now. He's in a good place. Sometimes with age comes wisdom. He was a young rich cocky player that was humbled. Welcome home arod , welcome home.

He was young and a bit stupid in the way that young men can be. They feel invincible, they'll never get old or die, and they can be the first one to use PEDs, not get caught, and not break down from them later. He must have put in an incredible amount of work in the gym during the winter, because he is STRONG now. His HRs are going over 400 - 450 feet. And everything that he says makes me smile. If he saw a shrink or a guru, I want to know this guy's name. If he did this all on his own, he's the comeback player of the year.

Dude his 24th HR on his 40th birthday. WTF? How is he doing this? Did he get an infusion of platelet rich plasma from Kurt Thomas?

My problem with Alex Rodriguez is simple, TWICE nailed for PEDs. That's the equivalent of watching someone get a promotion that they didn't earn over YOU. Not once but TWICE. I don't hate the guy but I don't cheer for him either. Burned TWICE.

I'll root for the Yanks but I refuse to be happy for the guy but I won't hate him either.

Fool me once....everyone was doing it. Fool me twice...ah, you got me. I'm not giving a guy three strikes in this situation. MLB can test A-Rod to the nth degree and I won't buy that he isn't still juicing to some capacity with something they just aren't able to test for. He's 39/40 and putting up his 7th best offensive season of his 21 year career. I'm just not going to buy it. It's incredible regardless of how he is doing it but I just can't look at him and think he's doing this clean.
