According to Brian Cashman, Pineda will not return to the Yankees until September.

Should be very interesting to see if the Yankees can hold out until Pineda returns. Another thing to note, how does that affect the Yankees' decision making process with the following:

1. Eovaldi is a nice #4 pitcher but no ace.
2. CC Sabbathia is at best a #5 pitcher
3. Pineda's injuries. Can he remain healthy for a full season?

Pineda is somebody going to have to monitor rest of his career I don't think he will play a full season without some time off.Yanks should look into adding a top line starter in the off season..
