Four game set against the tribe. Yanks just need to win the games they should be winning. They should crush the Indians.

Yanks drop the opener to a 4 game set. Jeter's replacement proving his worth in the 9th.

Problem is didi should really be a number 9 hitter, but the Yankees have no choice because they continue to employ a scrub at second base. if they could upgrade 2b it would help the bottom of the lineup a lot.

There was a rumor that Jose Reyes would be put on waivers. Brian Cashman was asked about level of interest and he said, ZERO. Didi is THEIR guy.
Meanwhile, another Cash signing was Stephen Drew and he killed a rally last night when the Yanks were trying to tie with the bases loaded. Instead the Indians rout the Yanks because Wilson throws only TWO pitches. The 97 mph heater. A change up he can't throw for a strike. Indians fouled off the fast ball, then waited for the Change up to bite the plate...WHAMO! the Indians erupt and put the game out of reach.
Today on Posada day...Yanks up 5-1 with Serevino on the mound.

Yanks drop 3 out of 4 to the Indians and as a result, lose first place (again) to the Toronto Blue Jays. Next up the Houston Astros who gave the LA Dodgers hell.
