Baseball Tonight: Ponson vs Yankees

on Baseball Tonight, they said Ponson talked some trash about the Yanks organization and had apparently said he was looking forward to facing us (obviously, so were we) ... anybody know anything about this?

I can see why he would be miffed at the Yankees. I mean, they picked him up last year to be a throwaway 5th starter, threw him in the bullpen when a better option came along in Lidle, then threw him back on the street after one last lousy emergency start. But then what did Ponson do to deserve better treatment?

Ponson should try and stay out of prison before talking trash.
Hes a fat slob that Baltimore, San Francisco, St Louis and us didnt want. We gave him a new breath of life in the league and he talks smack as usual.

The Yankees used Ponson for bating practice. I suggest he never opens his mouth again.

Ponson is a fat slob...
ESPN was praising him for recovering from the Abreu HR since he had pitched a couple of scoreless innings. Then A-Rod set him back to reality.
