baseball can suck at times.. riivera on friday gives up two hits, to lugo and crisp that would not dent a pillow and they score 4 runs.... tonight we have hit some shots, and either they are down the line foul, or finding some dickwads glove..... go figure..

Has anyone noticed that every team we play suddenly picks up 9 gold glove defenders...

Yankees opponent's always seem to make spectacular plays and we normally just don't.

It's a tradeoff for having an offense-oriented ballclub really. Pedroia made a nice play but i'm glad we don't have him at the plate.

check this out. I am involved in a fantasy league. I have papelbon and rivera as my closers.. I am up on my opponent now by 6.5 points. now if papelbon gets the save I keep and increase my lead and win for the week. If he blows the save, great for the yankees, and bad for me, as a blown save loses me points.. All I can hope for is a jeter homer.. LOL.. since I too have jeter on my fantasy team..... geez!!!

Actually the Yankees winning should immediately make you forget about your fantasy team

I avoid putting Red Sox on my fantasy teams unless i'm getting one in an absolute steal. It's childish, but it helps me avoid those awkward feelings.
