Karstens likely would have been New York's fifth starter to open the year and could need one more rehab start, but with the Yankees in need of pitchers, an activation is possible.

this is testing his strengths and weaknesses right now, Chase isn't suppose to have an easy game in Boston if anything it helps him his next start. He left 3 pitches up they were gone, one pitch Lowell was sitting on low an inside. He can bounce back from this.
