Why Didn't we Keep Craig Wilson?

Just cuz we needed D at 1b doesnt mean it had to be the worst hitter in the world. Doug M is just the pits, and a '04 Red sock to boot. It's like we're a god damn NL team with a guaranteed out. I dont care how much offense we already have, this is the AL East. We need a hitting 1B ASAP, or just send Giambi back out there and get a good DH.

Yes, Doug's bat has been poor, but I look at not just what he does for his glove, but also how he's helped AROD this year. If you don't think Doug has had a postive impact on AROD, you're mistaken.

I just think we need to play Phelps more. He is a team player and has proven he can hit. Plus his glove isnt bad at all.
