Igawa was disgraceful and it's looking like another bad loss.

Can't fault Joe for today... you just can't. You should fault the guy who gave up 8 ERs in 4 innings and is getting paid $20 million to be here. Joe actually did a very good managing the bullpen today by stretching out Myers for 4 innings. There is nothing Joe can do when our starting pitchers suck... and he ever tried to extend Igawa. But Igawa was giving up hits by the truckloads.

Colter Bean, another in a long line of guys with a 'deer-in-the-headlights' look on the mound for the Yanks. Holy cow he stunk so bad that he made Igawa look like Roger Clemens.

Vizcaino does not suck notice earier this season he was pitching 2 IP and started throwing 92 mph fastballs at the start of counts now he's throwing breaking balls because it is clear his arm will fall off.

Bean was the story. That was a Chase Wright-esque breakdown. Maybe worse.

I just cant believe that our bullpen was supposed to be a strength for us. This is going to be a bad series for us with rasner and desalvo pitching. I was also praying that igawa would turn things around but he disappointed me....

Our bullpens dead tired, and if our starters don't start going more than 5 innings, it's going to be a long season.

Torre should try threatening Igawa with going to the bullpen if he doesn't pitch well before the next game he's scheduled to pitch in.

Thinking the same thing. Maybe he can be put into the role Sean Henn is in now. Pitching 2-3 innings if a starter can't go long or 3-4 innings if the starter can't make it to the 5th. Then put Henn into a 7th inning role with Farnsworth and sometimes Bruney. Then use Vizcaino, Procter and sometimes Bruney for the 8th. Let Mo close it out. -Jitpal
