Yeh I know are you crazy :nonono: ...

I think we could send him down and let Nardi fix his mechanics as an in case of emergancy what do you guys think has always had the stuff is very durable ?

a low risk high reward type thing

if we fix him

he's 30 years old

98 mph fastball , nice curve , a slider

is it possible I rather go this route than ICU-ANO, Leiber or Nomo

not Guidry :wavefinger:

sign and send him down to Scranton or Trenton where ever Nardi Contreras is , he works wonders w/ mechanics.

Weaver sucked when he was here. He would not fix himself here as he proved he couldnt handle the pressure

I wouldn't go after Weaver. However, NYKnStill do we still have Hideo Nomo? I havn't heard about him in years. -Jitpal

Naw Weaver sucks and noone is gonna be able to fix him.Only reason why he pitched so well in the postseason last year was because he was gonna be a FA and wanted his money.

Now he has nothing to pitch for.

Weaver hit 98 a couple times yesterday. However, I don't remember if he actually hit his spots with that 98mph heater. -Jitpal

At this point, Weaver is a lousy pitcher who had a fluky postseason and used it to trick the worst GM in the league into giving him a hefty one year deal. Getting him would be no different from getting Ponson last year.

Weaver is pathetic pitcher who proved his worth his first time around with the Yankees. Not only that, but he's done th impossible - get even worse.

He'd be better off going to the Mets. Maybe Peterson can get him to at least go par.

New York is what ruined him in the first place. He was dirty in Detroit
