According to the New York Post, Roger Clemens is on track to join the Yankees' rotation next Monday against the Blue Jays.
Clemens is scheduled to start Wednesday at Double-A, which is expected to be his final minor league rehab appearance barring a setback.

I would imagine Clipp stays up until Hughes is healthy? What do you guys think?

I agree. I would imagine Desalvo gets sent down when Roger makes his debut. Clippard will be sent down when Hughes is healthy.

They're not going to do that to him. He is a prospect that has a future in this rotation, not a mid level prospect who is a fill in starter. Clippard will never relieve a game for the Yankees, he'll just start in AAA. Maybe people suggested having Hughes relieve last September so he can get some work in pinstripes, but there is no point in messing with it. Clippard is a 22 year old starter, if he is going to pitch then let him start...whether its AAA or up here.

Right now DeSalvo will be in long relief and get skipped and Clippard will pitch Friday (with the off day we don't need DeSalvo as our 5th starter). So that tells me Clippard is higher on the totem pole right now, and when Clemens gets back perhaps Clippard stays over DeSalvo until Hughes returns.

All these injuries have done for me is prove that we have quality starters in our system in Hughes, Clipp, Rasner, and Karstens.
