Angels vs. Yankees Game 1

Post#1 » by ReggieFULLeffect » Fri May 25, 2007 10:00 am

RHP Jered Weaver (3-3, 3.46)

vs.

RHP Tyler Clippard (1-0, 1.50)

The Yanks have won 3 out of the last 4. Let's start winning in bunches boys.

Weaver is going to be tough. Clip should give us a chance as the Angels hit like the Trenton Thunder. If we set the tone early and jump quick with a couple runs, it will give Clip the chance to settle down and work. I say we win 5-3.

We are going to lose this series . The Angels own us. Chone Figgins is hitting .135 now, Yankee Stadium is just the medicine he needs to raise that average to .200 :(

This is a very scary pitching matchup for us.

If you guys think tonight is a rough matchup check out the next two days. I can't remember the last time we defeated John Lackey...

Kelvin Escobar (5-2, 2.82)
vs.
Chien-Ming Wang (3-3, 4.38)

-----------------------------------

John Lackey (7-3, 2.38)
vs.
Mike Mussina (2-3, 6.52)

Desalvo is not good. He had his 2 good starts, now let's send him down to the minors and never see him again.

I dont understand why Torre took out Tyler so quickly

Sure he didnt have his best stuff but at least let him try to go into the 5th or 6th inning.

Torre pulls Clip in the 5th inning for what :noway:

It's not Clips fault Damon couldn't track two line drives down when he was right under them :nonono:

After seeing what you guys wrote, I don't know if I should even watch it. I DVR-ed the game because I was out. Worth it? -Jitpal

Chone Figgins and Scot Shields own us... it's almost comical.

That entire team owns us, but Shields and Figgins mostly.

Scot Shields owns everybody. I'd do some unpostable acts to get him in our bullpen.
