Victorino is the only guy that intrigues me on the Phillies major league roster that is actually obtainable and fills a need. He steals bases, has a decent OBP, and would be a switch hitter off the bench. A little prospect sweetener might make the deal more palatable, but I don't know much about the Phils' system.

I like Victorino, he's not going to be a star, but he can be a solid role playing outfielder who can hit decently and he is a really good fielder with a absolute cannon for an arm. It would also allow us to trade Melky to the Giants or whoever for another arm without any serious repurcussions to our outfield situation.

I would take Victorino for Farnsworth in a heartbeat.

Check the trade thread. There has been discussion about this since yesterday. -Jitpal

Pleas eget rid of this guy. He is horrible. Victorino would be a nice fit on the bench.

We need to do a Farnsworth for Victorino deal. Just fill in some minor leaguers to go either way to balance it all out. Our outfield is shot and Victorino is hitting better than Abreu. -Jitpal
